An educational program was conducted by Dr. Anjana and Nurse Sakurani last Saturday to equip the Ceylon Riding Club team with essential lifesaving skills. The focus of the session was on administering intravenous (IV) fluids to horses in critical condition, a vital procedure that can help stabilize a horse until a veterinarian arrives on-site. This initiative aims to enhance the team’s readiness during equine emergencies and ensure the wellbeing of their horses even in time-sensitive situations.
